W. H. Tildesley have been congratulated with a Made in the Midlands award by Lord Digby Jones, for investing over £1 million to upgrade and expand its current facility.
Construction of the first half of the main building is already complete, while the steelwork for the second half is now in place. The whole project is due to be finished in November of this year and all electrical and mechanical services are being provided by local contractors.
Sales & Marketing Manager, Philip Hobley said “When all of the rebuilding and refurbishment work is complete we will have a thoroughly modern manufacturing facility. The improvements are intended to provide better working conditions and to help meet the latest environmental standards. The work flow through the factory will be improved and the increase in available floor area means we’ll have the option to install additional production capacity to accommodate future growth.”
W H Tildesley is a privately owned company that has been established for over 130 years. It has vast experience in producing forged components and now specialises in producing small to medium batch quantities.
