W H Tildesley has begun shipments of forged and machined valve bodies to the Aerospace industry.
This component is forged out of CZ115 brass before being extensively machined in W H Tildesleys in-house machine shop.
The as forged component weighs just 0.5kg
The finished valve body is ultimately fitted to the Hawker 125 aircraft where it helps to regulate the emergency oxygen supply.
Sales & Marketing Manager Phil Hobley commented, "this project helps to continue the steady growth we have seen with our aerospace customers.
