W H Tildesley supplies another batch of high-end hammer heads.
3 types of hammer head are drop forged at our recently expanded and upgraded facility in Willenhall, West Midlands.
The heads, produced in 3 weights 1¾lb, 2lb and 2¼lb, are drop forged in alloy steel then machined in-house into cross pein, ball pein and standard versions. Shot blasting and hand polishishing add the premium finishing touch.
W H Tildesley has been supplying these parts to the same Customer for over 10 years. Theyre not the run of the mill heads found on hammers in your average DIY stores. These are made to be used in more demanding environments and are in fact used all over the world especially in traditional Blacksmith applications.
